New Settler Family Support - Settlement SERVICES (SS)
This program provides ongoing support for families who have been in Australia for less than 5 years, by providing programs and services to assist with settlement and gaining independence in a new community. It focuses on fostering social participation, economic and personal well-being and community connectedness through a range of community based acitivities.
Examples of the support and activities offered include:
Programs can vary over the year depending on the needs of the new settling communities.
Eligible residents are:
Clients may self-refer or be referred through the HSS or other community programs and agencies.
Geographical Coverage: primarily Greater Shepparton, with a limited program in Moira Shire
